Almost all the mountainous part of Adygea is the UNESCO World Heritage, so it’s hard to describe all the interesting places – After all, here are so many: waterfalls, caves, rocks, gorges, canyons, rivers, alpine meadows, pine and fir forests and t.D. The area is suitable for both mountaineering, speleology and rafting and flights on deltaplans and simple walking tourism.

One of the most famous and popular tourist routes is Khajokhskaya Tesnin, representing a part of the River Gorge White and Southeast South-West from the village of Kamennicorova.

On the other side of the village, on its northern outskirts, you can see Hajokhsky Dolmen – ancient construction of presumably ritual destination. And very close to the dolden is the real miracle of nature – a tree of 14 stems growing from one root.

2 km from the same stone-terrain village, up the White River, are located Waterfalls of the Rufabgo stream. In total, 16 waterfalls were formed in the gorge, but tourist trails are not laid all. The highest of waterfalls is called Maiden Kosa – His narrow stream breaks down from a height of 15 m. National Museum of the Republic of Adygea
was created in 1925, but first located in Krasnodar and only after a while moved to Maykop. Now the museum keeps a unique collection of clothes, coins, musical instruments – only about 270 thousand exhibits. The main expositions are devoted to the culture and everyday life of Adygs, as well as the events of the Great Patriotic War.

An excellent architectural monument and one of the places of pilgrimage of the republic is Mikhailo Afonovskaya Doggy Desert. This is an Orthodox monastery, built in the late 19th century. With the arrival of the Bolsheviks, the monastery lost all his lands, and on its territory they arranged a holiday home. In the 40s, all desert temples were blown up. In 2001, part of the monastery was given in possession of the Russian Orthodox Church. A Trinity Monastery was restored and a monument to Prince Mikhail Nikolaevich was established. Now in the Mikhailovsky desert, particles of the relics of many saints are stored.
