Traveling through Prague Franz Kafki – Prague, Czech Republic – Tourist Blog

On this day, June 3 marks 90 years since the death of the famous Czech writer Franz Kafa; He died in 1924.

Kafka – a unique phenomenon in world literature. During his lifetime, he published little, today he is recognized as an outstanding writer of the twentieth century.

What did Kafka deserve world famous? – ultimate sincerity and honesty!

His works are permeated with fear of the outside world and before the highest authority. Absurd of the surrounding world where he was "thrown away to live," here is the main theme of the works of Franz Kafka.

I have long dreamed of visiting Prague to visit the Kafka Museum, to stay in those places where Franz worked his fantastic worlds. Prague – the city of mystical; This is an existential space, to penetrate into which you can only "Supervised the surface of the thing.".

Prague is compared with a diving bell in which people live, and where it is even interesting, but where it is certainly a man suffocate.

Prague hates everything is obvious. In his romance, Kafka does not call the described city, but not to know Prague impossible. Fictional topography overcomes the limited realism.

Kafka called Prague "Mother, who has such claws that do not break out". However, even in the most nightmarish dream, it could hardly be making a kafka that it will become the main tourist attraction of the city. On the map of Prague, 33 places associated with the writer are indicated. Wherever I went, anyway come across a kafka.

Going to Prague, I, I don’t know about anything, chose the old hotel in the city center. What was my surprise when I found out that the most insurance company was placed here from accidents, where Kafka worked from 1908 to 1922. He called him the "Lair bureaucrats". Now on every floor portraits hang, in the hall Bronze bust, in a bar with a table with a portrait of kafka and his books. Some kind of mystic!

I was surprised and delighted, how carefully collect and carefully stored the prague, all the most minor memories of kafka. At the corner of the house where he was born, a memorable bas-relief; On the first floor there is a cafe of his name. There is a society of admirers french kafki. Works Museum dedicated to the writer. The original monument of Frank Kafka attracts many tourists to make a mystical act ..

Franz Kafka was born in Prague on July 3, 1883 in a Jewish family. His father Herman Kafka was a wholesale trader with haberdashery goods. Surname "Kafka" of Czech origin (Kavka means literally "dank"). Mother of the writer – Julia Kafka (nebid etles) The daughter of a wealthy brewer.

Kafka had two younger brothers (who died at an early age) and three younger sisters.

According to the stories of the mother, Franz was a weak, painful child. He read a lot and, unlike his father, did not like physical exercises. Usually serious, Franz, like all the children, was inclined to the shadows. Most of the time the boy was granted to himself. I don’t know how to write, Franz came up with stories, trying to overcome the rejection of the surrounding world. He even wrote the plays for his sisters. Pieces put in a family circle until the author’s youth.

"I was a nervous child, and often capricious, – writes Kafka in the diary. – I do not believe that I was a particularly difficult child and what a gentle word and a kind look could not make me obey ".

Franz’s childhood was indescribable lonely. Education was engaged in governess. Franz distinguished insecurity, self-judgment and painful perception of the surrounding world.

"I often think about it and every time I come to the conclusion that my upbringing in many ways badly damaged me … This reproach is published as a dagger, in the whole society. ".

The house in which Kafka was born was in the Jewish quarter, where Jewish wise men and mystics lived in the centuries who studied Kabbalah.

His first school Kafka called the father’s haberdashery shop. Father saw in the senior son of the successor of his business. He taught to smile to smile to buyers, treated beer, drove with him to swim, taught his son to the game.

But Franz did not meet the requirements of the Father. He possessed fragile health and increased sensitivity. Franz did not interest business, he was interested in literature. Still at school, the future writer took an active part in the organization of literary meetings and theatrical performances.

The result of paternal education was the endless suffering of the Son. "In your presence, I lose confidence and experiencing an infinite sense of guilt," Franz explained Father.

"Your judgments were true, the judgments of any other – insane, abnormal," writes Kafka in his famous "letter to the Father".

The conflict with the parent was very much influenced by Franz’s worldview. The despotic figure of the father closed almost everything.

"Sometimes I imagine a dislayed map of the world and you, spread over again. And then it seems to me that it can only be about me about areas that either do not undergo you, or are outside of your reach. And they – in accordance with my idea of your size – quite a bit, and these areas are not very welcome, and the marriage does not belong to their number ".

Franz was very much owed to his father and could not free himself from the sense of duty. Psychoanalytics ceased to "Edipov Complex" in relations of senior and younger kafki.

Franz wrote about himself: "He is afraid of shame who will live even after him".

Why this child, on which parents lay so much hope, was gone so strange?

Franz remained for everyone as if surrounded by some insurmountable wall. What happened in the soul of the boy, no one knew. He himself did not tell. However, everyone understood that no one would break through through this wall.

"How much I remember myself, the problem of protecting my soul is so important for me, that the rest was indifferent to me. My closure was my only defense against the obsessive feeling of fear and from the feeling of guilt ".

"You’re crazy," Somehow said the husband of sisters Ottla Joseph.

"I lived with a loop, and although I fought for another life, my efforts turned out to be vain, as I tried to do the impossible," wrote Kafka in the diary.

Franz finished German school, entered the Prague Karlov University and after graduation received a doctoral degree. But it was not his choice.

"For me, there was no real freedom in the choice of profession, and I knew: compared to the main thing it is also indifferent, as the items that I studied in high school, and therefore it is only about to find a profession that would give I am the opportunity, not too infrained by my vanity, show the same indifference. Such subject turned out to be the right ".

Despite the fact that Kafka defended his thesis and was a doctor of law, he entered the service to the Agency for the Insurance of Workers from Accidents. Since 1908, he worked as a subworn official, and by 1922 he became the main secretary of the agency. He was a very executive and neat official. However, the incompatibility of work and the vocation weighed the kafki, were its existential conflict.

"The office and writing are incompatible, for the writing the center of gravity somewhere in the depths, while the office is on the surface of life. So it goes – then up, then down until you break the finally. ".

"Only me is to blame, the service makes me only the simplest and fair requirements. But for me it is a terrible double life, the outcome of which is probably one – madness ".

Kafka lived in his glass castle, where there was a foreign entrance, but from which he himself could not go out.

Native Franz seemed strangers, strange, incomprehensible. They needed a succeeding lawyer or notary, and not a gloomy dreamer with an incomprehensible passion for writing.

Franz endured the growing mother, listened to the contempt persons of the father in the fact that the son, in whose study he invested considerable money, in his thirty years it does not want to do it in his thirty and get to the clutter finally from the parent neck. "When you don’t need to take care of a piece of bread and you have a father’s workman, you can dream a little".

Due to the conflict with the father and early rupture with the parents of Kafka, it was forced to lead a very modest lifestyle and often changed housing. During his life in Prague Kafka changed 13 apartments. This imposed a print and his attitude to Prague itself and its inhabitants.

"Cell went to look for a bird". Prague was a cage and a labyrinth for him, from which Kafka could not escape. "In this small circle … all my life is closed," he confessed.

Growing 1 meter 82 cm on the surrounding Kafka impressed with his boyish, neat, strict appearance, calm and endless behavior, his mind and an unusual sense of humor.

And although Franz followed his health, but constantly suffered from migraine, insomnia, constipation, impotence, injections and other diseases.

He hated his "pitiful look", his "Nishchenye clothes". "As a result, I adjusted the body by clothes, went snagged, one shoulder above the other, did not know where to give my hands, I was afraid of the mirrors …"

During the day of Kafka led the boring life of the insurance clerk. In the service, he was busy until 14 o’clock, after dinner, I slept, and at night his genuine life began. Left alone with me, he gave free to his fantasies and fears, carrying them on paper. Sometimes he wrote several works at once.

On January 3, 1912, Franz Kafka records in his diary:

"When it became clear to me that the literature was the most fruitful direction of my creature, everything went to her, and everything that concerned the joys of the floor, food, drinking, philosophy and, above all, music was abandoned.

"Literature is all that I am, and I can’t and do not want to be anything else.".

"When I do not write, I feel only fatigue, sadness and gravity in the soul. And when I am writing, I’m placing anxiety and fear ".

In the foreground, he always had literature, "justifying all his existence". "His blood brothers" Kafka considered Gustava Flaubert, Franz Grill, Heinrich von Kleist, Nikolai Gogol and Fedor Dostoevsky.

"The life of society is moving in a circle," loved to repeat after Dostoevsky Kafka. "Waking, we go through sleep".

In 1902, at the student seminar dedicated to the work of Friedrich Nietzsche, Franz met Max Brody. At the initiative of Max in March 1908, a selection of eight kafki stories were published in the journal "Hyperion", united by the common name "Contemplation". Critics immediately called it a new word in literature. However, Kafka himself felt pristentness.

"If you really want to benefit, then deal with the affairs of our Asbestos Plant," said Father. – I need an intelligent assistant. Although I’m not sure that you will be felt on this role. ".

"I am ready to jump out the window at the thought that I will have to swallow asbestos dust from the morning to the evening," Franz defended.

"Writing and everything connected with this is only attempts to become independent, attempts to escape from your pointing decisions," Franz explained Father. – the whole point of the remaining of my life to guard them, do everything that is possible to disrupt any danger from you for me ".

"I am extremely overtaken by my service, but I will not give to my own hands, and injections in my novel, even if she will give me a face".

But who needed night efforts to create a dozen of vague prosaic lines?

"A strange, mysterious, dangerous, maybe a saving consolation, which gives writing: it allows you to escape from the rows of murderers, constantly observe the action," Franz wrote in the diary.

"It is possible that the more I write and the more from it I am released, the cleaner and more readily, but I still have a lot from being free, and no nights can be quite long for this sweet occupation.".

Young Kafka very reservedly treated his publications. With his life, only 1 \ 6 part of all written is published – only 41 story.

The first book of Katki "Contemplation" was published in November 1912 in the publishing house in Leipzig and was the result of the Max Ford initiative. Max Ford suggested with the help of his literary mechanism to publish the works of Kafka, but Franz responded with refusal.

After publication in 1919, the collection "Rural doctor" and the story "in a correctional colony", Kafka became a noticeable figure among Prague writers. Franz presented his book "Rural doctor", but his father did not even look into her.

Kafka was a frequent guest of a philosophical circle in the house of the Fifty family. In the house number 16 by Hibrnskaya Street in Cafe Arco there was a meeting place for young Prague German-speaking writers. But Bohemia Kafka never loved.

Thanks to friendship with the actor Izhak Levi, Kafka found something, without which the artist would not be an artist: the combination of creative passionism and deep humility.

Kafka constantly doubted how much he was writer. Hiding in the house of the sister on the Children’s street, Kafka creates several stories. He understands: "Of course, something like an incomprehensible genius is needed here, which would re-put his roots in the ancient centuries or the ancient century would re-create, without waste himself in all this, but I just start spending yourself.".

Thanks to friendship with Max Brod, we know Franz Kafki as an outstanding writer of the twentieth century. Their friendship began in 1902 and continued all his life. They went to Italy and Switzerland, Weimar and Paris.

Before the death of Kafka asked Brod to burn all his manuscripts, not reading. But Max Brother did not fulfill the last request of a friend. It is thanks to this disobedience, today we are familiar with the world of Franz Kafki.

Knights known to all of our novels of Kafki there is an attempt made by Max Brody’s attempt to fold something whole from scattered passages. The chapters of the novel "Castle" were not numbered, and Max Bard put them on their own taste.

Max Brod not only published all the works of Kafka, but also wrote about him a book of memories.

Do not idealize kafku. Franz was not an angel. He easily converged with girls and easily parted with them, and never regretted when they parted with him. According to the memoirs of Max Brod, Kafka did not want to be holy. His reality was the region of the Spirit than he was obsessed, and the only thing he recognized real.

Franz Kafka distinguished the world around. He could not even live with himself. He could not live anywhere in the world. Nowhere he had no place. He was a kind of "mole," who could live only in the dark, and built his "city", invisible to anyone … and looked up in the apparent emptiness.

In the story of "Nora" Kafka writes: "… I am also angry and he touches me that I sometimes confuse in my own construction". Walls of the camera rushes. This is not a dark wall, says Kafka, this is life, sweet life, nipple, compressed in the wall shape.

Once he went to the Berlin Aquarium with a lady, which then told how Franz suddenly spoke with the fish: "Now I can watch you peacefully, I don’t eat you anymore".

Much of what was trying to write Kafka, an unconcerned!

"What a nightmare in my head! But how can I turn off, without stopping the inner voice? A thousand times better get rid of him than to keep inside or destroy in me ".

Kafka studied himself every minute. He loved to experience fate, falling into dangerous situations. On August 6, 1914, he recorded in his diary: "My desire to portray my filled with fantasies inner life moved to the background everything else; Other interests have lost their importance. Nothing else can make me happy ".

Kafka has always been prone to autobiographicity, and not only in diaries. His stories – Illustration of classic neurosis. He came up with various stories helping him to overcome fear.

Fantasy Kafka Reflection not only of his chronic diseases, but also its painful forked. On the one hand, debt towards the father and native, on the other hand, duty towards the vocation.

In reflections about sin, suffering, hope and about the true path of Kafka writes: "We were created to live in paradise, and the paradise was intended to serve us. Our destination has been changed, but what happened with the purpose of paradise, it does not say anywhere. ".

He didn’t notice much from life at all, rather, on the contrary, he demanded too much – everything or nothing.

"You are not given to fulfill the task, but this does not mean that you must give up its implementation," wrote Rabbi Tarfon in the "Fathers’ sayings".

No one else was so acutely realized his "remoteness from God". At the same time, the "good life" for Franz meant "LIVE not far from God".

Kafka described the absurdity of what is happening, looking out of the ideal world of Plato. But the measurements used by the person do not come from the world of absolute.

Czech-German publicist Pavel Icener In the late twenties insisted that Kafka "Giant for whom and ten Nobel Prizes little".

"What I write, for me – nothing, I’m only interested in moment when I write," Kafka admitted in the diary. He wrote about himself and for himself.

"Writing is a kind of prayer"!

Love is the key to earthly redemption. It is the story of love that can most fully tell a person.

Kafka understood love as "a subtle river, worthy of him to be called love, inaccessible to everyone who is looking for him, emitting only a mumbling spark".

Up to 26 years old Kafka was a virgin. The quarter of the red lanterns Franz led his friend Max Brod. I first called the woman, Kafka described her sexual experience: "Everything was charming, exciting and disgusting.".

Subsequently, Kafka often visited the triggers, but before the depths of the soul, despised cheap ****, every time experiencing a burning shame.

The indecision and emotionality of the character of the kafki appeared in his repeated attempts to marry. He with ease concluded the engagement, and with the same ease they ruined.

With his first bride, Felicia Bauer Kafka met Max Brod. Communication with Felica lasted five years from 1912 to 1917. Felicia lived in Berlin, and the kafku it quite satisfied. They were very different people, but in their numerous letters to Felicia Kafka created an almost perfect image of a beloved. For six months, Kafka sent almost two hundred letters, one by one, or even two per day. Completion of such love wedding would mean "martyrdom". Franz, perhaps, loved Felicia, but not enough to sacrifice the interests of the literature.

"I have no interest in literature. Literature it myself: my flesh, blood "!

The ugly Felicia seemed fir not so much interesting or attractive as seductive safe. She was ready to endure the oddity of Franz in order to marry him. But to imagine a marriage with Felicia without sexual relationship was quite difficult.

Half a year Franz gathered with the Spirit and finally made Felice offer. She immediately agreed. However, soon Franz writes the bride to the repentant letter, where he reports the rupture. He understood that she was unlikely to combine writing and family life. "… I love her, but my love suffocates under the fear of tormented itself".

Kafka was afraid of loneliness, but even more feared with him to part. "All I have achieved is the result of only loneliness".

Franz did not imagine how to live with his wife. Kafka believed that marriage distract him from the main direction of thoughts – the path to the absolute.

In July 1917, they met again. Felicia has already been ready for everything: to be a burst and getter, so that Favorite Franz can completely devote himself to creativity. They decided to get married again. But a month after the second engagement, the kafki went blood throat. Doctors diagnosed bilateral tuberculosis lungs. Franz announced that he again dissolves the engagement.

As if in an excuse, he writes Felicia: "In the depths of the soul, I consider my illness at all with tuberculosis, or at least not primarily tuberculosis, but simply by my full bankruptcy".

Franz always surprised that they find women. He possessed himself the most incomprehensible authority over them. They endured its complexes, fears, indecision, changeability. No woman refused to him.

Was it a reward or it was punishment?

All life women brought a fetter only painful doubts, disappointment and feeling of guilt. It all started with the governess of sisters Mademoiselle Baia. Once she came to the room to the twentieth French and seduced him.

Kafka passionately wanted to have children, but doubted whether he could become a father. He had a higher understanding of the marriage union. "To marry, create a family, take all the children who appear on the light, maintain them in this volatile world and even the story of them in the life path is, in my opinion, the biggest thing a person can do".

Max Brother says that there is a testimony of some Madame M., which was in close friendship with the kafka and gave birth to his son. Kafka did not even suspect the existence of a boy; He died at a seven age earlier than the Kafka itself.

In 1919, being in the treatment in the sanatorium, Kafka meets the young Prazhanka Yulia Vethrysetk. Beautiful and clever girl was younger kafki for eight years. They quickly have a relationship. Like an honest person, Franz offered a girl a hand and a heart, not knowing why. However, soon after the engagement began to doubt the correctness of his decision. But the daughter of the Prague shoemaker clung to Franz, seeing a profitable groom in it. She tried to attract it with a neckline and a frivolous joke, absolutely not understanding the spiritual requests of Kafki.

"You do not know anything better how to marry the first counter; you can not curb your lust? – shouted father. – Go better in a public house ".

For the first time in the life of Franz, Father was grateful, who fell on him with loud reproaches: "You are going to take your illness to this girl or, not bring the Lord, even death? And after that you say you love?"

Kafka wanted to marry to become independent and get out of the custody of the Father. "To be one – punishment"! – Franz recognized his friend Max Brod.

Somehow he said: "My dear Max! I am a completely useless person, but nothing can be done about it. ". "Every day I dream to break away from the earth". "I’m fine, except me".

When Kafka met the journalist Milena Esenskaya, he broke with Yulia Vethrytsek. The bride collapsed on Franz with curses: "Whether you cursed! Scoundrel! Lustful merry! You just used me!"

The fragile psyche of Julia did not stand the rupture of engagement. The girl fell into a psychiatric hospital, from which he never came out.

Kafka turned thirty-seven years old when he met a twenty-timer journalist Mylena. She was the first translator of his stories to Czech. This woman understood all the brightness of the kafki, and his daily falls. It was Franz that the woman was looking for all his life: funny, smart, decisive and gentle.

Milena was the "fire", which Kafka passionately longed and was afraid. "This is a live fire, which I have never seen before," he wrote Max Brod. – "If you can die from happiness, then it will happen to me soon".

Milena Husband – Ernst Pollak – became one of the first Popularizers of Kafki works. However, Kafka could not bring the threesome life, although in those years it was very popular. Franz ripped relations. For Milen it was a tragedy.

In one of the letters to Milena, Yesenskaya Kafka writes: "I am not given a single calm second, I do not give anything at all, everything needs to earn, not only the present and future, but also the past, too, although his every person gets in advance, but And it also needs to earn, the hardest work ".

I also had a beautiful girl with mysterious name Milena. I tried to solve her secret, but it did not turn out, and then I invented her.

"There is no one who would fully understand me. Have a person who would have such an understanding, for example, a woman would mean to have a reliable support, have God, "Kafka wrote in his diary for 1915.

By the spring of 1923 it became clear that Kafka was fatally sick. He resigned from service and went to the boarding house on the Baltic Sea’s shore to expect the end. In the Mürets, a forty-year kafka meets nineteen years old Diamond. Beautiful and smart dora fell in love with Franz at first sight. She became for him all: girlfriend, nurse, cook. It is expensive that the world must be the last surge of creativity in the brilliant writer.

"He lives such a tense life," said the Dora, "what a thousand times dead".

She was with Franz to the last minutes of his life in June 1924.

Kafka suspected his existential drama will end a serious illness. He fought with tuberculosis and blessed him.

In the last months of life because of the tuberculosis and inflammation of the throat of Kafka could not talk and could not even eat. Nevertheless, he continued to work on the story "Holrors". This is a story about a person who does not eat and dies, forgotten in his cage.

"Doctor, let me die, otherwise you are killer"! Such were the last words of the dying kafki. He died on June 3, 1924.

On the day of the death of Franz Kafki in Prague, something unprecedented was happening: the clock was stopped on the Town Hall Tower. They were able to start only a week after the death of Kafki. Some kind of mystic!

Like many kafki admirers, we decided to visit Franz’s grave at the new Jewish cemetery. However, when came to the gate, the gatekeeper closed the doors literally in front of our nose. I began to crushing. The gatekeeper showed on the clock. I almost sharpened. Then he asked: Do I have been buried here parents or relatives. I replied that I arrived at the grave of Franz Kafki. After this magic word, the doors opened.

In 2003, the sculptor Yaroslav Ron created a monument to the Frank Kafka. This monument is counted to the top ten most unusual monuments of the world, which are devoted to famous people. Personally, I saw in this symbolic sculpture a character of one of the works of the kafka, which was not possible to escape from the absurdity of the process: a suit wears a person who has become a victim of absurd and omnipotent intrigue.

Another no less noticeable composition is right at the entrance to the Kafki Museum. David Black Sculptor Fountain depicts two men who run on the Czech card. They say this is a certain allegory of the entry of the Czech Republic in the European Union.

Traveling through Prague Franz Kafki - Prague, Czech Republic Blogs and travel notes of tourists by Prague on

Before the trip, I wrote a letter to the director of the Franz Kafka Museum, told about the purpose of the visit. When I came to the museum, the staff gave me a card and a guide from which I learned that the exposition arose in 1999 in the center of modern culture in Barcelona. The project and scenario created Juan Insua. Since 2005, the exhibition has been working in Prague.

The first part of the exposition is "existential space" – introduces the life of a writer. But especially I was impressed by musical video stations, reflecting the Minication of Franz Kafki.

As a sign of gratitude, I gave my museum my novel "Wanderer" (Mystery). One of the plots I wrote under the impression of the Roman Kafki "Process" – the absurd of our legal proceedings and the nightmare of criminal lawlessness.

For the first time, the works of Franz Kafki printed in the USSR in 1965. Get this book was impossible. Up to the restructuring kafku not printed. I remember what we were looking forward to the publication of the "Process" and "Castle" novels in the magazine "Neva" and "Foreign Literature".

The big public is the most famous story "Transformation". Critics celebrate the similarity of this story of the kafki and the play "Dick" Jacob Gordin. "Sky" – a play of a slightly crawling on all fours in a room, which is locked up by his family.

In 2002, the director Valery Fokin created a film by the story of Franz Kafka "Transformation". The main role was played perfectly played by Evgeny Mironov.

Interesting semi-love film of Stephen Soderberg about Kafka 1991, where the role of Kafki performed Jeremy Irons.

I liked the film "Process" of 1963 director Orson Wells, where Anthony Perkins played the main role.

Activity and film Alexey Balabanova "Castle" 1994.

Why Kafka wrote a story "Transformation"? Such a fantasy should have an explanation in real life. Probably, this happened after another conversation with his father, as a result of which Kafka felt humiliated; Perhaps there were also offensive comparisons with insects and even the sink apple.

"Turning" – Apotheosis of Minds. Obviously, this is not just a fantasy, but an insecurity and fear displaced.

Waking up insect, Gregor Zep begins to understand that it is not love in the world, but absurd and fear. As in a fairy tale, the transformation into the monster is, however, the deliverance due to the miracle of love does not happen.

Some call the Kafka "Horror Lover", others – "Great Artist of Doubt".

Previously, many others on the basis of the personal experience of Kafka managed to understand that in man there is not only a tendency to good, beauty and harmony, but there is a tendency to evil and violence.

Ingenious writers have the gift of foresight. In his works Kafka foresaw the offensive of the totalitarian society. What he described in the story "In a correctional colony" and in the novel "Process" in a few years has become a reality in fascist Germany. It was there that the car was created for mass extermination of people.

After the war, many Europeans suddenly saw themselves in the heroes of the kafki, inspired in absurd validity. So here is tragic after a quarter of a century, the work of Kafka has become known to the world.

Kafka still "burning relevant"!

Recently at the Faculty of Man’s Philosophy in St. Petersburg Pedagogical University named after Herzen discussed the problems of Franz Kafki’s creativity.

Looking at the absurdity and nightmare happening today, it seems that the heroes of Kafki came to life.

Roman "Castle" is an allegory of today’s power. Legal lawlessness and arbitrariness resembles the action in the "Process" novel. "In a correctional colony", like now, "justice is defended from punishment". "Transformation" occurred in reality: yesterday’s fighters for people’s rights today shoot these most people. Do not fight people, and not even oligarchs, fighting politicians confused in their own ambitions. They would be all – yes in the trenches unleashed by them!

Back in the period of World War I, in a conversation with Gustav, Ianukhov Kafka prophetically admitted:

"War took us to a labyrinth with curves mirrors. We are picking from one deceptive perspective to another, confused with false prophets and charlatans, which are very cheap recipes of happiness only close our eyes and boil ears, and we fall from the mirrors from the dungeon, as if through open hatch ».

Max Brod in the book memories of France Kafka writes:

"Absolute truthfulness was one of the most important character traits of Franz. Another characteristic feature was aggravated conscience. She manifested itself in all matters of morality in which he did not tolerate the slightest injustice. ".

"In his work, he was an independent researcher, and he had no traction to historical and literary classifications. He was looking for the main thing in everything, wanted to identify the truth. He could inspire newspaper article ".

"There is nothing" surreal "in his work, and there is truthfulness, a protocol and plausible perception".

"Our art lies in blinding the truth. The light that falls on the distorted mask and then disappears – this is the truth, and nothing more, "Kafka believed.

"Kafka was characterized by a sense of justice, love for truth and casual honesty".

"Everything in it is true, and nothing but the truth".

"He was attracted by simple, without sure, forms of description of life. He rejected everything beating on the effect, applying for intellectuality, artificial, although he never had eaten such labels. It was something like the "gently whispering voice of nature", which spoke.

"He has no word that would not add new paint or would not have any point. Each item radiates light indicating the eternal, transcendental, on the perfect world. In any great work of art, you can find eternal light, flowing through the raised forms ".

"Kafka did not apply ordinary human standards to him – he estimated himself from the point of view of the ultimate goal of human being".

The position of modern humanity seemed to him hopeless.

"Curse hangs over the human native," wrote Kafka. – "I suffer pain and madness". "In the excited heart tick the clock". "I constantly want to die, and the only thing that keeps me alive is just love".

"He believed in the world of justice, he believed in some non-deepebility, which is evidenced by many of his statements. We are too weak to understand this real world. But it exists. Justice reigns everywhere. Her choppers shine through the gray cobweb of ordinaryness. ".

"Holiness is the only correct word that can be assessed by the life and work of the Kafka. However, I do not mean that he was a genuine "holy" in his own sense of the word. But ************* on the fact that he was on the way to this top ".

Kafka compares its creativity with "New Occult Teaching", a kind of Kabbalah. Literary creativity was "the only desire", his "only profession", as he wrote in one of the letters.

"God, write me to write me forced," Kafka wrote twice in his diary.

Max Bard believes that art is a reflection of religious experience. For Kafka, art was dear to God. "He was the opinion that every person once finds her only way to God, and immediately immediately saved, without any reason to the past, and even without any accounting of the future.".

"A person cannot live without a strong faith in the fact that there is something indestructible in it," this phrase Kafka formulated his religious position.

Max Brod recorded the conversation that happened February 28, 1920.

"Kafka said: "Our nihilistic thoughts can penetrate the consciousness of God". In confirmation of this, I began to quote Gnostics with respect to the demiurge, as the unkind creator of the world, and the doctrine that the world is the sin of God. "No, – Kafka replied, – I believe that we are not so sin of God, we are only the fruit of his bad mood. He had an unsuccessful day". – "So you can hope for what lies outside this world?" He smiled: "Hope – for God, hopelessness – for us".

After reading the book of Max Ford "Franz Kafka – a prisoner of the Absolut", I am surprised to find how much we have with kafka similar personalities. I am also on the zodiac "Cancer", and also by education lawyer. For me also in the first place has always been not work, but literature. Like me, Kafka in his family was someone else’s strange incomprehensible unusual stranger. My father also did not understand me. Father wanted me to enroll in the law faculty, but I always loved philosophy and literature.

I sometimes seem to me that I am in some way "reincarnation" of the spirit of kafki. So much we have in common, even in consonance surnames. My life seems to continue his life, but without previous mistakes, it is completely.

I am writing these lines, I look in the eyes of the French and as if talking to him. In front of me, his suicide photography, in the hands of the fountain pen with the signature of the kafki, I drink tea from a mug with a portrait of Franz, jamming chocolate "Kafka". Next is the claim in court and the collection of laws is preparing for the upcoming process.

"Guilty is always undoubted," I remember the words of Kafka from the story "In a correctional colony". And indeed it is!

"The law must be available to each" – Such is the main idea of the philosophical parable "before the law". According to most critics, this parable is the key to the creativity of Kafki, and in particular to the novel "Process".

"Before the law is a gatekeeper. A person from the village is suitable for this gatekeeper and asks permission to enter the law. But the gatekeepers says that he cannot allow him now. A man thinks and asks later, whether he can not come in later. "Well, it is possible," – answers the gatekeeper, "But only not now".

"Everyone is so strive for the law", – says man, – "Why then, for many years, no one, besides me, not demanded to enter it?"

The gatekeeper sees that a person is already under death and to achieve his decaying hearing, shouts loudly to him: "Here nobody could get permission to enter, because this entrance was intended only for you one! Now I leave and close it".

Skyrplay of demanding doors

– come out one by one!

Under the protection of prisoners climb the court of court hearings.

– Well, what can you say in your justification?

The voice of the judge is genuinely indifferent.

– For what you want to judge me? For the fact that I am free to have violated anti-abnital laws by my behavior? You can condemn me, only assuming that I had a choice: get a job or live on a ridiculous little allowance. And if it was not work, and it is impossible to survive on a meager allowance, if I did not have a choice? How can you judge me if I was not free? Freedom without choice is not freedom!

Not the behavior of people the reason for the appearance of the criminal "law", Namely, the presence of an unnatural law is the reason for the negative behavior of people, for the law establishes that "OK", and what "poorly". So for what you want to judge me: for the fact that I was free, or for not able to comply with unnatural laws?

– if you judge in your opinion, then no one is guilty.

– This is true! And everyone is to blame!

– Everything! Enough! – Shouts judge. – Take it!

And here only notice the transparent threads that stretch from the hands, legs, head, mouth, the language of the judge somewhere up.

And the rest of the court also!

– Where? Where do you want to take me? I do not want to the chamber, I do not want to go back to this clock! I demand freedom!

Not paying attention to my exclamations, the escalers lead me along the long corridor, turn, still turn, we descend on numerous stairs, and below and below, corridor, turn, again the staircase, and finally the door.
